LOEWE Perfumes Story • A Dream Within A dream, 2023

收到卷宗wallpaper委托，
我创意指导与制作了一辑香氛静物故事。

在中国有一则「庄生梦碟」的典故。
「昔者庄周梦为胡碟，栩栩然胡碟也。不知周也。」

在闻到香氛的气味时，
起初在脑海中浮现了这样的画面：
晚风吹动月光，蚊帐浮现夫妻的身影。
归雁向南飞去，案上烛台豆光倦倦。
一场梦中梦。

为了完整呈现故事，
同时制作了海报与公众号。
我们将海报的体裁设定为半格海报，
一格一格窗景闪过，好像电影一幕幕地放映。
邀请平面设计师Herbr制作了氤氲的主题字体，
文案形式以空场字幕的形式呈现，
与框景画面共同构成了6组香气故事序章。

As the Creative Director and Photographer, I was commissioned by Wallpaper* magazine to produce a story series on perfumes.
In China, there is the story of "Zhuangzi's Butterfly Dream," which goes: "Once, Zhuangzi dreamt he was a butterfly, a vivid and real butterfly. He did not know he was Zhuangzi.
When I first caught a whiff of the fragrant scents, a picture emerged in my mind: a scene where the evening wind rustles the moonlight, mosquito nets reveal the silhouettes of a couple. Migrating geese head south, and on a table, a candle holder with flickering candles. It's a dream within a dream."
To fully present the story, I simultaneously produced a poster and an official account. We designed a half-frame poster that resembles a window with sceneries flashing across, playing like scenes in a movie.
I invited graphic designer Herbr to create a smoky font and the text is presented like closed caption across an empty scene, jointly constructing the prelude to the stories of six fragrances with the framed sceneries.
